Lomian Sa Baryo has been in operation for almost 20 years now. The place is known for its homemade “kikiam” which is made of vegetables compared to others which are usually consisting of meat or like those of street kikiam.

EDNA’S LOMI HAUS | Brgy. Lapu-lapu, Ibaan, Batangas

Edna’s Lomi Haus started their operation back in 2010. According to Aling Edna Salto, their main customers were truck drivers and other travelers since they are located near the Malainin-Lapulapu STARTOLL Exit. But when the construction of Palindan – San Jose road started in earlier part of later part of 2012, their customers dwindled and their operation slowed down due to heavy traffic. They were forced to temporarily close the store. When the smoke has gone down and with the road almost complete, they officially re-opened their lomi haus in July 2016. They also had it renovated a little bit so as to provide the customers with at least some comfort. The place has around 3 – 4 tables which can accommodate probably some 10-15 customers at the same time. We would recommend their “meat balls” made of ground meat and carrots. They also this nicely cooked lomi which is neither salty nor plain. But then again, as a lomi lover, its taste would still depend on soy sauce, calamansi, fried ginger, minced onions, and chili. Moreover, we can say that they got this clean lomi presentation compared to others which are sometimes in almost dark color due to some ingredients used. The haus opens at 8:00am and closes down around 8:00pm. They also offer pancit guisado and pancit canton. They may either be in bowl, plate, or in “bilao” with price ranging from P200.00 to P500.00. One more thing. I think their lomi is cheaper by P5.00 compared to others. You can contact them at 0999-873-9889.

Erich Mang Cook’s lomi is loaded with chicharon. Small plates are being provided for ginger, kalamansi, sliced onions and chili. Good presentation. You can visit their Facebook account here. You may also click here for other photos and related video.

PARK VIEW LOMI HAUZ | J. Pastor St., Poblacion, Ibaan, Batangas

Park View Lomi Hauz must have been satisfying Ibaenos’ lomi craving probably for more than 10 years already. Although the owner is not actually from Ibaan, their version of lomi has captured a huge market from the municipality. Their basic toppings include grilled pork adobo, a quail egg, and slices of liver. They can be found along down town’s main thoroughfare J. Pastor Street and is located adjacent to Recto Gym and Fitness Gym/Poblacion Day Care Center.

ALLEN PANSIT SPECIAL AND TAPSILOGAN | Mercado St., Poblacion, Ibaan, Batangas

Allen Pansit Special And Tapsilogan sits at the ground floor of the old Ibaan Electric Building at Mercado Street of Brgy. Poblacion. At the right side of which is Father’s Nook. One of the gimmicks employed by Allen Pansit is what we call their “hugot lines wall” which is a big hit among youngsters. here, they allow the customers to write sentimenal lines on a piece of paper which is then posted on their wall. As per their lomi, theirs is much thicker compared to others since, as we have observed, they use more volume of cassava flour which is the thickening agent of lomi. The taste will also differ which can be attributed to the kind or brand of soy sauce they use. Allen Pansit also offer “silog” menus. For orders and inquiries, you may contact them at 0921-295-5021 | 0930-264-9945.

ANGEL’S LOMI HAUS | Coliat 2, Ibaan, Batangas

You can find Angel’s Lomi Haus along main road from Coliat 2 going to Batangas City. You’ll see an almost faded red billboard with their name on it. However, it won’t be easy since it can’t be seen along the road itself. You still have to walk around 10-15 steps through a small road that leads to it. Their price ranges from P40.00 to P60.00 for their regular, special, and jumbo-sized lomi. Same price applies with their pancit bihon, pancit canton, and guisado.
