Post Ibaan Disaster Report On Typhoon Glenda

The following is the post disaster report made by Ibaan Municipal Disaster And Risk Reduction Management (MDRRM) caused by typhoon “Glenda”. From the statistics and data collected by the concerted efforts of the team, as submitted to the Office of the Mayor, the report was prepared by designated MDRRMO Engr. Nilo Salazar as of July 18, 2014. Such includes estimates on the cost of the damages.

A. TOTAL DAMAGED HOUSES – P12,000,000.00

  • Totally Damaged Houses: 171
  • Partially Damaged Houses: 1,356

B. DAMAGED INFRASTRUCTURES – P4,035,000.00 B.1. LGU-OPERATED INFRASTRUCTURES – P550,000.00

  • TB DOTS damaged roofing
  • Public market roofing (wet section)

B.2. SCHOOL DAMAGES – P585,000.00

  • Palindan ES – 4 classrooms roofings
  • Balanga ES – reading center (damaged due to fallen trees)
  • San Agustin ES – H.E. Building, roofing, cracked perimeter fence due to fallen trees and reader center roofing; collapsed reading center; broken window glass
  • Gregorio Sison Memorial es – damaged pathway roofing and damaged perimeter fence
  • Ibaan Central School – 3 classrooms roofings, school canteen roofing and 1 classroom door damaged
  • Mabalor-Catandala ES – 3 classroom roofing, CR roofing
  • Quilo ES – covered court roofing
  • Sabang ES – H.E. Building roofing, canteen roofing and kindergarten room roofing
  • Tulay ES – pathway roofing, classroom roofing
  • Maximo T. Hernandez Memorial NHS – canteen roofing, school stage roofing
  • Sto. Nino ES – Principal’s Office and building roofing, school building roofing
  • Malainin ES – school stage and covered court roofing
  • Talaibon ES – gutter
  • Bungahan ES – dismantled fence grill
  • DJAPMNHS – broken glass panel, gutter

B.3.  BARANGAY – P2,900,000.00

  • Lucsuhin – 3 bridges
  • Quilo – 2 foot bridges, road and electricity wiring
  • Lapulapu – foot bridge near Lapulapu river, spillway
  • Sabang – spillway, irrigation canal
  • Landslide at Ibaan-Taysan road (Balanga and Catandala section), damaged slope protection structure and damaged road
  • Munting Tubig – waiting shed

C. AGRICULTURAL CROPS AND LIVESTOCK – P6,000,000.00

  • Rice – 38 has. (10 barangay with 38 farmers)
  • Corn – 67.75 has (19 barangays with 64 farmers)
  • Cassava – 9 has. (3 barangays with 8 farmers)
  • High Value Crops – 15.95 has. (9 barangays with 38 farmers)
  • Mango – 323 trees
  • Banana – 5,430 trees
  • Rambutan – 45 trees
  • Coconut – 5 trees
  • Other fruit and forest trees – 150 mahogany, 100 gemilina and 10 assorted trees
  • Cattle/Carabao – 4 heads
  • Poultry – 301 heads
  • Goat – 2 heads
  • Fattener – 10 heads

D. CASUALTIES

  • Died – 0
  • Injured – 0
  • Missing – 0

E. EVACUEES – 0 TOTAL DAMAGE ESTIMATE – P22,035,000.00
